What makes our products unique?

Our Product Features

Our leather is locally sourced good quality bovine (cow) leather. Full grain leather. Our leather is dyed right through and not only on the one side.

Colours can vary slightly due to not all leather being exactly the same.

Our shoes feature a stitch down sole which gives our shoes a distinct fashionable look, this also aids to the durability of the shoes as the front wear of the shoe always stays intact and does not ever collapse, in other words your toes will not ever go over the stitched soles.

The quality flexible rubber soles allow for good wear, but you are able to re-sole with us if need be. No snapping of soles.

Our insteps are padded for extra comfort.

We use leather lining inside the shoe, no synthetics being used.

We manufacture in small batches, which makes our products more sought after and creates individuality for our customers.

FijnbosVrou was born from a bold decision to trade in city life and high heels for open skies, grounded living, and a creative path rooted in nature.

Our shoes are made from genuine, locally sourced leather and carefully handcrafted in George. Our designs are inspired by the textures, colours, and wild spirit of South Africa – with names that honour the fynbos and landscapes that surround us.

At FijnbosVrou, we believe comfort should never be compromised. Our shoes are made for real people and real life – walking the kids to school, exploring dirt roads, or stepping out into the city with confidence.
