Our Fijnbos Vellies have been carefully designed and hand crafted to be the most comfortable & unique Vellies available. The two toned leather gives a distinctive look to our vellies.

The heel stamped with our already recognized gorgeous logo FijnbosVrou for the ladies & FijnbosOu for the gents.

What makes our products unique?

Our Product Features

Our leather is locally sourced good quality bovine (cow) leather. Full grain leather. Our leather is dyed right through and not only on the one side.

Colours can vary slightly due to not all leather being exactly the same.

Our shoes feature a stitch down sole which gives our shoes a distinct fashionable look, this also aids to the durability of the shoes as the front wear of the shoe always stays intact and does not ever collapse, in other words your toes will not ever go over the stitched soles.

The quality flexible rubber soles allow for good wear, but you are able to re-sole with us if need be. No snapping of soles.

Our insteps are padded for extra comfort.

We use leather lining inside the shoe, no synthetics being used.

We manufacture in small batches, which makes our products more sought after and creates individuality for our customers.

About US

After many memorable holidays in Sedge, our family decided to make the big move down to the Garden Route, leaving the corporate rat race and high heels behind. I wanted to make a big career change and have always loved shoes (like most woman) so I ventured into designing & selling leather shoes. Our shoes are made of high quality genuine leather, locally sourced and hand crafted to perfection in George. Each style is uniquely named after places in our beautiful land and various fynbos. We believe feet take you on your adventures and you will experience life and the world better with comfortable leather shoes for men and woman by FijnbosVrou. The name ‘FijnbosVrou’ aka Natali stuck with me as I absolutely love our country’s fynbos.
